Dr. Kamal Buckshee is working as Senior Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynecology at Fortis La femme GKPart 2 with over 50 years ofexperience. She is the first Indian Obstetrician and Gynecologist to develop and standardize in utero fetal skin biopsy technique, fetal diagnosis and in utero blood transfusion, uterine balloon therapy in patient with dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Her pursuit for newness in obstetrics & gynaecology in terms ofquality care and ethics is never ending. Her other achievements have been in the field of gynaecologicalendocrinology especially in PCOS, hyperandrogenism, plastic reconstructive surgery of the vagina and cervix, microsurgery, infertility, adolescent gynaecology, gynaecologic oncology and high-risk pregnancy. She has more than 250 publications to her name in national and international journals.
