About Doctor

Dr. MAHIMA. K.M was born in a family of traditional ayurvedic peadiatricians in Thrissur, serving the sick for more than half a century.

Dr. Mahima completed her B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from Poomulli Neelakandan Namboothiripad Memorial Ayuveda Medical College, Shoranur, Kerala and is clinically trained from Dr. K. Rajagopalan, a renowned Indian ayurvedic physician and academician.

She was always passionate about medicinal plants, so she completed her Post graduation (MD ayurveda) in Dravyaguna Vijanana in 2017 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

She found her calling when she started learning more about 'Arka', an ancient and mostly lost steam of Ayurvedic pharmacology. She wishes to bring "Arka" preparations to mainstream and people benefit from this amazing form of medicine.

Currently she is working at Saranya Ayurveda Hospital, where she has been practicing medicine, teaching students from all over the world and doing research on "Arka preparations".
