Dr Rasmiranjan Padhi MD, PDCC, EDiINR is a Consultant in Neuro & peripheral vascular Interventional Radiology who works at GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India with 10 years of experience. After completing his MBBS with Honors in Pathology & Gold medal in Surgery, he did his Masters in Radiology (MD Radiology) after getting selected through All India entrance examination. Post MD,He has learned the basics of Interventional Radiology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai .He did his Postdoctoral training in vascular interventional radiology from SCTIMST, Trivandrum, an institute of national importance under the ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. He worked with stalwarts in Neuro-Interventional Radiology like Prof. Dr Naci Kocer in Istanbul, Prof.
Dr Jack Moret in Paris, Prof. Dr Rene Chapot and Dr Hans Henkes in Germany. He is one of the first Indian Neuro-Interventionists to be awarded the European Diploma in Interventional Neuroradiology. He is currently working as chief of Neuro-interventional Unit at GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore since 2015.
