About Doctor

Dr. Rohini.G. Varrier inherited her love for the science of Ayurveda from her mother, Dr. Jayanthi. P.V. Her mother being an Ayurvedic clinician and accademecian teacher, she was exposed to the ayurvedic thought process and way of life from the kitchen and backyard of her own home.

When she grew up, she had the opportunity to study other, more lucrative courses, but the Ayurveda that her mother nurtured stayed with her and she decided to pursue her heart's wish.

She studied in the PNNM Ayurveda College, which carries the legacy of Poomulli Neelakantan Namboodiripad, world renowned Ayurvedic physician from Kerala.

Since finishing her bachelor's she also pursued post graduation in Dravyaguna from Rajiv Gandhi University of Post Graduate Studies.

She found her calling when she started learning more about 'Arka', an ancient and mostly lost steam of Ayurvedic pharmacology. She wishes to bring "Arka" preparations to mainstream and people benefit from this amazing form of medicine.

Currently she is working at Saranya Ayurveda Hospital, where she has been practicing medicine, teaching students from all over the world and doing research on "Arka preparations".
