Dr Seerapani Gopaluni is one of the best nephrologists in Hyderabad, currently working in the Citizens Hospital as a Consultant. He has an overall experience of 12 years and he worked in the UK at some of the world’s renowned Nephrology and Transplant Centres such as Leeds, Oxford & Cambridge.

He is an expert kidney doctor in Hyderabad, and his areas of expertise include renal transplantation and managing auto-immune conditions such as lupus and vasculitis. His areas of special interest include assessing patients’ suitability for renal transplantation, pre and post-operative patient management, immunosuppression and dealing with graft dysfunction. Further, he has a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of glomerulonephritides and autoimmune diseases. He pursued PhD from Cambridge (UK), one of the top Universities in the world, where he studied the role of the immune system in auto-immune conditions. He also worked in internationally acclaimed lupus and vasculitis centre (Addenbrooke’s Hospital) under the mentorship of Prof David Jayne. During his time in the UK, he developed expertise in the use of cytotoxic and biologic (monoclonal antibodies) drugs in the management of transplant and nephrology patients.
