About Doctor 
Dr. Shashi Bala Arya is working as Professor and Head, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly with more than 18 years of teaching experience.
She has completed her MBBS from KGMC, Lucknow and post-graduation from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
She has won various academic awards during her UG, PG curriculum including gold, silver medals and certificate of academic excellence. She has been an active member of various National scientific societies and has many publications in National and International journals to her credit. She is currently an executive member of IFS and BOGS. She has organized various CMEs with MCI credit points in her institution.
Recently, she was awarded the prestigious fellowship (FICOG) by Indian college of Obstetrics and Gynecology at AICOG 2020. Her paper on the pattern of cervical dilation has been awarded 1st Prize in UPGOG 2019
