The present Sree Subramania Ayurvedic Nursing home in Calicut was
founded in the year 1974 by Thekkayil Rajaratnam Vydiar, who was honored
with the award of Bhishak Ratna by the Corporation of Calicut in 2009
for his prominence in Ayurveda. This family tradition is continuing to
boost with the support of the blessings of his father, Dr.Sanand Ratnam
